Several of my works of late have involved spiritual themes and bodies of water. This painting continues with that idea. I was exploring this theme while listening to a religious broadcast. The teacher said something over the air that I never heard before- "The moon is often thought of as a symbol for God's law in Christian theology." That's why I gave this painting it's title.
